"You're to emotional" is a mantra I used to say to myself over and over and over again. The expression used to come from a place of shame and created a need to make myself smaller, hide pieces of me from the world. With time I've come to reclaim that mantra and use it as a form a self expression. Putting all those emotions into myself, my work and how I show up in this world.
